John, You went to school with Babs!!?! People, People who need People, ARE THE LUCKIEST PEOPLE in the Worlllllllllllllllld. True story, a friend of mine married a beauty contest contestant (that was her shtick) and when we met she couldn't wait to talk about her approach to beauty contests (hey, I'm a fair guy, I think it's just as good a way to spend your wayward youth as playing pool or practicing a cross-over dribble). In any event, when she got around to "Talent" she said she loved Barbara Streisand and had a whole routine & medley of Babs' tunes. Then she asked, "How do you like Barbara Streisand's music?" "Preferably playing on a stereo in a house in a different town, with the windows closed," I blurted out before I could give it a moment's thought.
