Since no one seems to care it just might. I hear a lot of noise about lack of current earnings, extrapolated into the future at the same "lack of" rate. All bs taking your eyes off the ball.

This POS has no debt and $1.2 Billion in cash and short term investments vs. the now $2.2 Billion market capitalization.

This POS announced a buyback of $200 Million on 9/17/2000. The rate they are going that would take about 30 Million share sellers worth out of the market.

So? Where it goes depends on where the out of focus sellers stop. I have no idea(nor do I care) why they are still bailing so I have no idea where they might stop.

I would like to know how AMCC plans to put the other $1 Billion cash to use? Buy back more stock? Buy another complimentary chip company for cash?
