I hope that isn't a result. That would be awful. So far the main result in our town seems to have been a bonanza to flag suppliers and a sort of rampant, indiscriminate, jingoism against the Middle East. Most people don't seem to be reading the news too carefully, and some people don't even know what countries are suspected of involvement- and yet they want to go fight them all. Which is interesting and a bit disheartening. But people are always silly and ignorant, for the most part.
