In other words, why is the NEA so heinous ... as opposed to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, for instance? If you want to blame anyone for the slide in American education, culture, values et al., start with the parents. It ain't the teachers' fault that society has gone to hell in a handbasket in certain areas of America.
