Jeff, i haven't really given the insurers much thought, but it appears that mainly European insurers and re-insurers will have to bite the bullet in the wake of the WTC attack. but generally, the industry is suffering from enormous overcapacities, and no pricing power (a trend that has been temporarily reversed over the past two years or so, but will imo re-assert itself until the industry consolidates further).
