I'm sure you'd be shocked at what the 3rd graders read in the public schools these days.

It's my belief that the little folk enjoy stuff with lots of gore and violence, but the school feeds them pablum.

S, Reading "Tale" will be a far, far better thing you do. <g> I think I messed it up. I read Oliver Twist when I was very young and when I asked what gruel was, somebody must have told me pudding.
