Epsteinbd, a lot of European countries have almost as much wealth per person as the US. You don't need a huge empty continent or a situation with no competition. (In fact more competition will create greater efficacy and help to make the world richer.) The other people on this planet can be as free as we are and eventually they can be richer then we are now. It won't be quick or easy but it is quite possible.
