Shhh! Don't tell the shorts, they will take the stock down, down, down. <gg> And if the contracts do appear they will scramble to cover at much higher prices.

Somewhere, the negatives about MRVC are more than discounted in the price of the stock and what is left is all the potential of these many ventures that are very early in the product cycle of a still-growing industry.

With annual revenues of around 400 million in place today and a market cap of less than 300 million there is an opportunity to make some money here IMO.

you're taking that quote WAY out of context. if i wanted to state i don't see how it can be a huge drag on MRV's earnings, i would have said such. my point is CW's burn rate is coming from money they raised in their rounds of financing. further, if i remember correctly, they do NOT include the loss from their startups in their proforma earnings.... CW is listed as a startup. please correct me if i'm wrong, as i'm just going from memory and i've been at the office a little too long...
