Made a nice packet but coulda made more than twice as much. Bought some more yesterday but only a small earnings play. BTW, MU lost loads more than their release says. They wrote down hundreds of millions in inventory in the prev Q. That means last nights results had the benefit of counting revenue for products whose cost of sales had already been accounted for. In reality, they lost about a $Billion on $480MM of sales. And DRAM prices are now quite a bit lower than they were at the end of Aug when the Q just reported closed.

... made the mistake of actually listening to CNBC this morning ... ... instead of just watching with the sound muted, which is my usual habit ... ... wow, are they out of touch with reality ... bu totally in tune with their sponsors, the brokerage firms of Wall Street ... talk about a buy side slant, unbelievable ... ... I am not sure that I have ever heard anything so dishonest and transparent ... ... as if they really believe the worst is over, and it is mostly up from here ... ... is anyone really reading the news ... we are a long way from the bottom (my opinion, obviously) ... I cancelled my limit buy orders for SUNW @ 5, EMC @ 9 and SCMR @ 3 ... I'll revisit all of this in a month or so ... Ken Wilson
