fyodor, <SK: This is what AMD said when they sold off their communications chip business a year or so ago. Retrospectively, do you think AMD could have timed their Com sale any better? ;-)> You are absolutely correct. Great timing. I was, however, pointing out the boilerplate Jerry Sanders response. You never know, perhaps mothballing the foundry services FAB's will also be looked upon as an astute move. BTW, at some point communications will be strong and AMD will not participate in this market. SK
