OBL is certainly evil for us. But he is clearly seen differently in the Arab world. It only makes sense to understand your enemy and not play into his hands. The God stuff, aside from being obnoxious to all the agnostics and atheists in this country, helps to lend credibility to OBL's claims that he is embarking on a Holy war with the West. Not the way to play it, imo.

PS. Author: Sebastian Junger. Author of 'Fire.' ....is being intrerviewed tonight on CNBC News with Brian Williams, now. He is apparently a journalist for the National Georgaphic channel. Williams says the documentary made from his work there wil air tonight on National Geographic ... if so, it will surely be repeated ... a second one, it seems, 'Afghanistan Revealed,' Williams reported will air sometime this week. On same. He spent time with Northern Alliance and therefore didn't meet OBL ... He describes his experiences very well and emphasizes the extreme poverty ... that can easily be corralled into hatred of we the rich in the West ...
