I'm sure they looking at all alternatives, think I saw plastic bullets mentioned somewhere.

Also panic buttons for the pilots to alert ground, video cameras trained on the cabin for pilots and with wireless feed to ground, and of course one that has a few stocks running lately, technology to match the faces or fingerprints of passengers who are on watch lists.

Canadian pilots have "expressed no desire to carry guns" according to the Vcr Province today.

I believe Air Marshals utilize special ammunition.
I believe pilots would be issued special ammunition as well.

I believe you are correct that traditional bullets would be dangerous. The purpose of the special ammunition is to
prevent the failures you were discussing with a pressurized airplane. I believe Air Marshals currently carry firearms.

Here again, I am not an expert just passing on the guts of my brother's email.
