Well, my arsenal includes an operable .45 revolver from the Spanish American War, a .38 special, and another .38 caliber pistol--I reall have never bought ammunition for any of these but it is available, and the would all still function quite well. These are in addition to military rifles. At one point my father owned several machine-gun belts full of .30 caliber ammunition, but the police took those away after my mother threatened someone with a pistol.
