Who is "we"? Are you going to war to protect your family or are you sending someone you don't know to kill someone else you do not know for a reason you do not know? We is the United States..and any other country that believes that terrorism has reached a threat level that deserves this response. The duty of the federal government is to protect the citizen, you know, "provide for the common defense". Those we are sending that we do not know, as well as those that we do know are nevertheless volunteers, it's not as if we are being "nimby-like" about the matter. They are being sent to bring terrorists to justice, but some of course will not come willingly and others will try to prevent this and protect them. They may die, but it is their choice to fight for terrorism, Bin Laden or their fundamental beliefs, just as it is our right (and a reasonable one) to fight for our way of life and freedom....freedom from the threat of terrorists that want to kill us, our children and our way of life. I knew no one in the WTC, Pentagon or on any of the flights but it doesn't make justice less imperative. Your insistence that this is "vengeance and killing" is off the mark...but consistent with your shrinking from the reasonable obligations placed on us by citizenship. Let's hear your views plain and simple and your plans and see how they would differ from any others....or are you just having fun?
