We're not opposed on principle to buying the end-of-month / end-of-quarter manipulation for a quick scalp of a few percent here and there, especially in one's 401K mutual funds.

Doesn't look like it's going to be profitable for any buying beginning today though.

Not typically a bad play. I wonder if the response will be muted this time. Despite the upgrades, ALL brokerages are selling upticks. Disgraceful.
