Good. Now we have a base to discuss this:
Now what happens on the charter group is overtaken by the events?
Lets say you've got a bunch of barbarians, pushing in front of them the charter groups that continues move forward, like it happen with the Central Europeans pushed by Attila.
You are going to notice that the charter groups were toppled.

Now cut to the New World. A lot happened in the last 500 years in the New World. Let's say you have a bunch of Yankees missing the Queen of England, a.k.a Canadians, who will be forced to accommodate a lot of Asians who buy passports in a scheme disguised as investments. That Canadian charter group will eventually will have to change the institutions they inherited from a former empire, now defunct.

Lets consider the charter group of the Aussies. They may scream and vote to the One Nation Party, but the writing is on the wall for the charter group there and in Kiwi land too.

In America the existing charter group -which I brought to this discussion calling WASPs- will turn more and more conservative. This because they have to defend nail and claw obsolete institutions: the constitutions made for a rural society, a defence establishment formed to fight the Cold War, a two-party system and so on.

All that is important because what we are seeing is the Gotterdamerung of the US charter group.

Thanks for the Charter Group name. A friend of mine when heard I say one day I will retire and go to university said: You won't like it. I asked why? The only thing you acquire there is a very good vocabulary
