Thanks. I have the OAKCDROM.SYS in \EBD, so I can try that. It booted up fine today. Someone else suggested I recheck all the cables, and I will do that next. Seems reasonable it could be hardware since it is intermittent.

By the way, the ATI display driver finally kicked in after about 20 restarts, so I now have full control over the display functions. I have not loaded and tried Hydravision, but I'm confident it will work since it failed because it could not find the ATI driver.
