euro may well strengthen from here --

someone else mentioned the size of the bounce in the markets over in Europe compared to ours (small so far on a %-age basis) --

certainly, if we don't rally here soon in kind there will be a perception to the "hot money" that there ARE better choices than USD assets --

does anyone know the market cap of US stocks vs. say the German and UK combined?

I would guess that with much smaller overall capitalization it was easier to get a larger bounce in those markets, but still our "bounce" looks pretty weak -- should we fail a second leg, more foreigners will flock to whatever they think the best choice is -- whether Euros, Euro denom assets or gold -- I don't know, but a change is in the brewing.
