Regnery: Barbara Olson's Book on the Clintons Will be Published

Publication of Barbara Olson's book "The Final Days" will not be
cancelled due to her death in the terrorist attack on the Pentagon
Sept. 11.

Olson died a hero, calling her husband, Bush administration
Solicitor General Ted Olson, from her hijacked airplane to warn
U.S. officials. In the aftermath of the tragedy publishing house
Regnery decided to put the project on hold pending consultation
with her family.

But Alfred Regnery now tells Matt Drudge that publication of "Final
Days" will go forward.

"We were all very upset over Barbara's death," Regnery said. "But
everyone we talked to, including her husband Ted, agreed that
Barbara would have wanted this book published."

Regnery said Olson's family didn't want to hand terrorists a
victory by nixing the project.

"Her family, friends and colleagues all thought she would be
pleased to know that even terrorists could not keep her opinions
from being known. In fact, she never would have countenanced the
thought that terrorism could still her voice or cancel her work."

"Final Days," which details the last desperate weeks of the Clinton
administration, was scheduled to go to press just two days after
her death.

Now Olson's book will be released on Oct. 22.
