"Are you willing to gut Regulation FD if you find that volatility has increased since its inception? Aside from the question of causality, I didn't know that the purpose of full disclosure was to reduce volatility. Your recent comments before the House Financial Services Committee (see below) are reminiscent of what may happen when foxes are appointed to guard chicken coops."
