FWIW: I shorted 1500 XLNX @$25.87 yesterday. I give it better than even chance that it'll hit 17 by the end of the year. So once it hits 20 I will sell covered puts on it for over $3.

good luck,
ST

This is the first purchase below my ranges and it required borrowing money allocated to buying the other companies.

What are the implications of this? When a stock trades below your range, do you routinely reevaluate the situation to determine whether it merits further accumulation? If you are "borrowing money allocated to buying other companies", do you then offset this by limiting your buy range on some other company?

I am trying to ascertain the extent to which your mechanical trading system may be impacted by your judgment.
