Clueless one - not all the posters thought that. Some were even short AMD.

By the way what was Intels price at the time when the article was written?

Why pick AMD? You can go down the list of thousands of stocks that were rated "buy" or even "strong buy" at prices 2x, 4x or even higher multiple of current price.

I wouldn't be surprised if you have at least one of them in your portfolio.
