Tread, about "Liabilities".

We see Liabilities in many or most Profile web-pages and in financial data sheets.

Could someone tell me what exactly Liabilities include and what it exclude(like LT debt I guess).

TA

JC, Whatsup with that?

jc-news.com

Of course, while AMD is having their first red quarter in quite some time, not all is lost. I have here with me a tantalizing bit of news from a very generous and groovy person. I cannot give you any details, as this might somehow expose the identity of this particular contributor. But let me tell you what's going on here in the way of a short conversation I had with Scott Tribe, a pleasant native of the fifty-first state:
JC: "What, in your opinion, would be the most promising (yet realistic, as in it could happen) thing to happen to AMD?"
Scott: "er.. I dont know.. my educated guess would be a big time corporate win by a major company for Athlon XP"
Scott is apparently very educated. The company is Compaq, the processors are from AMD, the systems are for the corporate market, the time is allegedly "weeks away". My suspicion, if this ends up happening, is that it will happen at either the announcement of the next speed grades of the Athlon MP, or the introduction of the Athlon XP (which is supposed to take place at around the same time, perhaps a few days later, if I recall correctly, but then again I thought that we were getting a 1.5xGHz Thunderbird/Athlon this month, so what do I know?<g>).
