Hello all, great thread! Is there anyone here familiar with S&P index changes? I would appreciate an answer to this question if anyone knows for sure...

When is the earliest and latest an S&P index fund manager can buy and sell equities involved in an index change?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Steve

Pierre, the Naz trin does worry me a little here, it once more indicates more selling n declining issues than in advancing, am not sure how significant it is when we did have a negative tick earlier in the day of -800, but it is worth watching here. We should get a congruence of very negative tic and high trin for a bottom, but both should not be higher than at the recent bottom. The fact that the number of new lows is less than half the numbers we had on the lows, is quite positive, IMTO.
