Ken,

Perhaps it gets a little old to keep thanking you for these late night posts (the one I'm reading now is clocked in at 3:23 am Thursday morning, east coast time), the ones from the LA Times, the Washington Post, and the New York Times. I read the last of these regularly in its paper edition, but not the first two.

Several of these articles have not only told me things I didn't know but led me to different ways of thinking.

Additionally, I'm passing them along to friends, neighbors, and relatives.

I know it's more than a little bit of work to keep doing this. Know, however, that it's very helpful.

If you and tekboy keep it up, I may have to take out a subscription to Foreign Affairs. (g)

John

I too would like to thank you for your diligent posts. I found last nights posts particularly significant in light of last nights posts by Iqbal Latif.

Ken, please read the following post and Ikes next 4 posts as they are in sync with your last nights posting.

I'm beginning to think that we are looking at "breaking news" that will not be twigged on by the mainstream media for quite some time if at all. It's looking more and more likely that world politics and free world political perceptions, reactions and conduct are about to change enormously.

Sticking my neck out here, but I think the Palestinians will be considered (accomodated) more broadly and yes ..at the expense of Israels position. I think the West (all of us, Europe,US, Canada etc) are on the verge of "growing up" and dealing constructively and tolerantly with a world of different attitudes. Undoutedly, the East will be learning too and opening their minds up, but...it's a long and twisted trail full of snakes. Is the world up to it? I'm not sure but today we have started. Good luck to all of us.

Thanks again for the great finds.

C
