Louis, RE: Is it "BUY on ROSH HASHANNA or SELL on ROSH HASHANNA" The latest I have is SELL on ROSH HASHANNA - BUY on YOM KIPPUR, and this came from my broker at GRUNTAL who is Jewish and has been an option trader/broker for 30 years. Hope he got it right.gggggg He explained it this way to me. Before their most holy holiday of YOM KIPPUR, one should not be overly concerned of worldly/materialistic issues, therefore the SELL on ROSH HASHANNA, which is 10 days before YOM KIPPUR. Once YOM KIPPUR is over and they can get back to normal - BUY YOM KIPPUR. This makes sense, but I am not expert on this topic.
