I agree with those ideas, ts, and would also rather see us boslter that which is already there and in keeping with true Muslim beliefs than "put something in place". I think the criticism of the US as a self-interested policeman has some truth to it and am hoping the US will rejigger its foreign activities a bit, keeping this in mind.
