We see different parts of the same picture and call what we see "truth" but the picture is very large and we only see part of it.

My father-in-law used to joke that the Mexicans say about Texas, "not only did you take our land, you took the part with the best roads."

I think it's a very funny joke, because we built the roads. We build better roads than the Mexicans do. Why is that? We build the factories in Mexico. Why is that? Our people are fat and theirs are thin. Why is that? Our people can read and write and theirs can't. Why is that? Did we steal their factories? Did we steal their food? Did we steal their teachers?

No. They can't do what we do. Why is that?

In Brazil, why are there starving beggar children wearing rags and no shoes?

In the USA, our beggars wear clean clothing and new shoes. They are clean, fat, and healthy, and hold up clean signs on which they have written "Homeless. Please help. God bless."

In Brazil, your beggars can't write. Why is that?
