Hi Scott,

Our 5 other farms were OK so as clients logged off/on eSignal, hopefully they got connected to other farms and were OK.

Interesting, as I thought I did log off and on to try and reconnect to another server - without success, but I didn't close the Data Manager, just went to Receiver - Communications and then unchecked the IP address box, click OK, wait a bit and then reopen and rechecked the box. Sometimes that did get a momentary connection, but after a few seconds it would be gone. I thought that forced a reconnect from prior connection problems (a very long time ago).

For future self help, should it ever be necessary, is the proper procedure to close the Data Manager and then reopen it? Hopefully connecting to another server doesn't require closing eSig totally as quickly reloading the whole day's data is almost impossible on a dial up modem if you are tick charting several stocks that trade in the 1+M share volume level. Having a data cache for the day's data that doesn't purge upon closing eSignal until either the user directs it to purge or a user preset time [e.g. 3AM, PST] would be a nice feature for us bandwidth challenged types.

Peace and Justice --- Patrick
