but the parts I have been in (New Brunswick and Nova Scotia) are very much like the US but more like the US a few decades ago than now. LOL

If you go to upstate Vermont, New Hampshire and especially Maine (most of which has no roads :o) you won't find much difference from Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. In other words parts of the US are also like the US a few decades ago.

Similarly if you were to go to Toronto, Vancouver and even Montréal you'd be able to compare pretty well with American cities as opposed to contrast.
