I am greatly encouraged to see that these men are ready, since our military has become nearly invisible on
on city streets- and they are tough. A platoon of Marines (including several women) from Camp Pendleton and wearing combat boots blew right on by me only 1/2 mile into a 5 K race at Newport Beach a few years back. I had to look down to see if my feet were still moving in case I had inadvertently stopped running.
. How about that "salad" ?, and a first at West Point by Gen.Clark is not too shabby
