Yes and Judas was also among Christ's followers. No body who looked at the Apostles would have picked Judas as the traitor, yet his actions revealed his true character.It's not often that you will find such honesty from theological liberals. In some ways it's refreshing, but their argument is not with me ultimately, it is with God. Not being a Catholic the Pope has no sway with me unless he can also demonstrate that what he says is also Scriptural. Since the Bible quite clearly says that failure to believe in the physical resurrection of Jesus places one outside of the faith, then I would defer to that.
