FOMC meetings are a 1 1/2 day process. Greenboink armtwists and cajoles monday, then he submits his policy writ for mandatory approval on tues, when the predetermined result is released at 2:15.

Oops, that's right, I read somewhere that it was 10/1. I didn't double check the source. I see on the website
federalreserve.gov typically Tuesdays, next after that is Nov 6 and Dec 11.
