On the Pentagon : you may have noticed that the jet did hit street lamp posts up to a couple of hundred yards before the building. Obviously the guy knew how low he had to be before his final target. Of course those lamps posts didn't change his course at all, and it looks like the wings of the plane didn't enter the building. I believe they went above the first roofs, but haven't seen them, nor the damage. The plane probably hit the top floor.

As for the White House, it can be seen very well from above, but not for long as the plane has to keep moving fast. Furthermore, there are not many free low clear courses to it : buildings on the way, trees.

Gladly these guys couldn't practice on simulators their flight path.

As you said, the Capitol, under a full hit, would have been totally destroyed.

These people were out to decapitate the US. ( which, if carried out, would not have "helped" Israel ! Mr Thomas. It is the fact that they misses that will "help".)

By itself, just the intention to decapitate the US, is a case of war.
