You have to remember that many came to this investing thing for the first time in the last several years. We have a whole generation of investors who until just very recently thoughts stocks could only go up. I read a post the other day saying that most investors weren't crushed with the crash but rather buying the dip all the way down afterwards. I think we still see many buying these dips thinking a $80 stock selling for 1 buck is a bargain.
