You have to read between the lines here. What if the revenues don't improve in 2002 ? No CEO is going to come out and say "if the revenues dont improve in 2002, we will get rid of employees"

More Intel twisted PR...

If they don't turn it around soon (I mean the chip industry, economy) they are going to lay off..it's very apparent. You should be happy about this unless you are an Intel employee.
Read: they are going to have to lay off...
