Dennis, I agree. My brother is a much better musician than I am and he is good buddies with one of The Doobies. I don't know which one. If you've seen one Doobie you've seen them all. <g> My brother is amazed that I don't care for their music. And some of my cousins think I'm nuts for not liking Joe Cocker. And don't get me started on Peter Frampton.

Dennis, I gotta disagree with you, What a Fool Believes wasn't sappy, it was prescient: 'no wise man has the power to reason away what a fool believes he sees' explains our late great dot-mania perfectly. <g>

I always thought it was a not bad jazz-rock song, actually.
