Regarding the Iran Contra affair, I don't think it was too big of a deal. I can see why liberals get steamed about it, but I think arming the contras was a good idea.

That said, my question was do people really believe that Reagan was able to secure the release of the hostages BEFORE becoming president? I for one doubt it, but curious what others think. Chis Considine has stated (I think) that he believed that happened.

What a pile of crap. Even assuming that what was done was not as honest as it should have been, the benefactors of the actions were not the Reagan Administration but Americans. The illegal activities of mr. bill and mr. gore were for the benefit mr. bill and mr. gore and their power in the democrat party.

And no American citizens were raped.
