I believe that to be another myth. He played four years for Parcells and Curtis Martin ran for 1,300 in three of them in a pass blocking offense. Robert Edwards ran for 1,200 just three years ago before getting injured. Even this year and last during rebuilding, seven or eight teams had worse running games.

The line has always been his excuse for not executing.
