The problem is, you don't know what each instance of rundll.exe is running. I'm not sure how (of if) you can determine that. I'd suggest looking in the Windows (x - your version) Resource Kit. There might be something there - an enhanced task list, etc.

If you kill rundll.exe, you just have no idea what it is you are killing. I think you are better-off just rebooting in this case.
