Bob: I don't think a deal can be ruled out entirely for the reasons you suggest -- I was wondering if retail might have its own code of normal behavior, assuming AMZN is not the first retailing to face bankruptcy. My very limited knowledge would suggest that vendors no longer support AMZN's continued existence -- and that is likely to be fatal, squelching any possible deals.
