OTOH, despite the need to control information to protect intelligence sources, Colin Powell could best establish the counter argument by release of sufficient evidence to implicate Bin Laden. He promised a white paper but has yet to deliver.>>>>>>>>

FWIW, I heard a report the other day stating that CP was to release evidence implicating the perpetrators of the events on Sept 11 this coming Sunday. I then heard another report that seemed to refute the earlier one. Haven't been able to verify either one. Big ?????????

Colin Powell probably has more credibility in the foreign policy arena than anyone else in the world. His word, and his judgment, is as good as gold. Everyone knows it, especially the Taleban. Their demand for proof is only a means of seeking intelligence so as to eliminate leaks.
