I agree. One federalization that makes sense. Now lets balance that by privatizing the FAA.

I would have never done what your daughter did. It is odd, it seems to me that they could find someone in their employ who would not be recognized to such a thing. I was right there, and there were management people right on either side of the security station. If she had carried the purse I would have said no, but since she had released it to go through the machine, I let it go. THe whole system has been replaced, and I pray it is better. NOW, I would not let her do it again, if I had a say so. I do not know the daily schedules of most of these security folks but switching from one post to another over the course of the day is one option, and as I said use younger, stronger, smarter eyes and make sure every airport flying commercial jets has the best in detection equipment.
