Great article Rich. Thanks for posting it. Those points certainly make very good sense to me. As I read along it dawned on me that the "God favors us" mentality has been shared by the Japanese and the Germans (NAZI) at different times in our planets history. Both of those examples came into the modern way of thinking only after military ruin and occupation. It also plays into the lowest form of human self-pity.."We're owed by society due to our great great great grandparents suffering/accomplishments"
