I guess you have to have read the post you're referring to, but I find it hard to imagine any context around those words that has any humor to it.

Neither was my remark about it being racist. But as John Fowler pointed out, political correctness cuts both ways. According to some of my more liberal Asian friends, being referred to as the "model minority" is racist.

The black comedian Chris Rock put it best when he said, "Man, black people would love to have that kind of stereotype! 'Oh, look at Tyrone over there! He looks smart! I wish I could sit behind him!'"
