TO ALL:Dipy: Actually that is an outright lie, when viewed in light of the facts as demonstrated by the following posts:

Jock,
No bet here, but I would like to pit your 12 tech picks against Buffett's recent purchase, Gap (Ticker : GPS), even though I doubt if he would agree to a bet that is, in his view, a short-term one.

Please let us know what your 12 tech picks are

These were my picks prior to yesterday's market:(honestly)

By the way, I think that GPS is a terrific long-term holding.

But remember, I loved BRNC at 20. It is now around 3, and part of my "core" holding

I then posted my picks as listed in the following post.

As of today they are down 44%. But as the following chart shows, your pick to click GPS, the one you said you would like to pit against Buffet's recent purchase on the day of my picks, April 5, 2001 is down 54%

So the point is that my portfolio that you have so mercilessly tracked is down about 44%, but your pick to beat my portfolio is down about 54%. This is not to say that I am bragging about my portfolio, but the facts are the facts, and your pick to beat me had underderperformed my picks. Think about it Dipy. You've been waiting for the bear market to appear for the last five years, and you can't even beat my pile of second tier tech stocks in the worst tech dive in history. That is truly sad.

Dipy: A man who never lets the facts get in his way of bear market guru predictions, and who never pays up on his bets. Oops, let's ammend that to never remembers his bets.
