Agreed Hawkmoon, almost "everyone screwed the Palestinians."
Not Lebanon. They paid a high price for their hospitality, and they are still paying for it. Paying even more than Israel if we consider freedom. An old civilization now under foreign rule, and for long. Is Assad joins the Alliance like his father did, he isn't going to be asked to quit Lebanon. Unless Powell has much more leverage than what I thought, which in not the case in the Arab world, this week at least.

I still believe that in it's present condition, Israel is an illegitimate State.

Palestine has not hurt itself...it quickly denounced the disaster in New York (wise move even if you did it and/or funded it).

The cheering during scud episode means little. Much like the recent events in Gaza when the Pals were shown cheering when the planes hit the towers....there were only a few and the television cameras did not show others who were repulsed by this show of jubulation.

Palestinians have little to be glorified about, I agree.
