So Hitler wasn't evil, just misguided and confused? Not sure what you're saying. How 'bout Pol Pot? Read the link you provided. I've heard arguments like this elsewhere. I would argue that these days, by definition, the interests of another nation are not necessarily served at the expense of our own. It's often not so easy to tell what will help us all in the long run and what won't? Despite our rightful devotion to Israel, I don't think we're being co-opted. Like the U.S., Israel deserves its existence if any country does. So, I think, does Palestine and Afghanistan. We'll see what happens next.
