Glad you're OK. You must have been awfully shook up not to come up with a rejoinder to my last post!

I've always had bad luck with witnesses. They usually are the first to split.

In Hawaii, the driver's don't stop when the light turns red. especially in the left turn lanes. You have to bluff them back by moving out. Sort of a 'right of way' by might deal. Having a big 4x4 all jacked up helps.

I hope the cops go for hit and run. We have a pedestrian hit and run about every 3 months here. Usually fatal. Once, a manager from a hotel hit a triathalete and put him into a permanent coma. The wife wrote a letter to the editor a couple of years later complaining about the lack of justice in Hawaii. Seems the manager already had a suspended license(for numerous drunk driving offenses) when she drove over the jogger. She had bent down to pick something up off the passenger side floor! While driving yet! She didn't even get a ticket. Did I forget to say she was 'connected' politically just a tad? Sort of a female Ted Kennedy. ~s~

KT,

I am glad you are ok.

May I suggest that the next time you buy transportation you consider a full up systems procurement process and consider the trade off between a sherman tank and other options. <ggg>

To All, I cannot talk about markets. However, anyone who saw Seth Glickenhouse on CNBC this morning, that is exactly what I am currently thinking, with the exception of the actual names he likes. The guy was so right on that I hope everyone watched it.

KT, yikes! Are you sure someone hasn't taken a contract out on you? <g>

Glad to hear that you are ok, and especially that your mother wasn't in the car this time.

I missed Glickenhouse on CNBC this morning, but I think I can imagine what he had to say ... <g>

Oh, and in case you were wondering, Tice is still bearish too. <g>

<<<Geez, Louise, I'm getting afraid to drive

problem is with walking...you still have the cars to contend with, and with less protection...i'm amazed how many people cycle in toronto with the way people drive here...

another issue w) driving is the elderly...they are on all sorts of medications...one wonders how there are any poles left in town the way they drive into them...and so few of them want to give up their license...
