I don't know that what I've said is foolish -- the fellow has a lot of capital -- if he were simply interested in alleviating suffering his money would go a long ways. My understanding -- simple as it may be -- is that he considers Americans evil (great Satan) and all the more so because we had troops in Saudia Arabia. This "holy offence" is what begun his campaign, was it not? He may not think this way and it may be a caricature painted by media -- but he isurely dedicated to it as though he were mechanistically bent on it. His "family" is quite rich -- now if by family you mean -- what he considers his "people" -- OK, but he certainly doesn't seem to be striking out at us because of their poverty. At least not on the face of it ...
